In my current role, I have been extensively involved in financial management tasks such as proposal Budget building, verifying financial reports, and ensuring compliance with donor regulations. My experience includes communicating findings to partners, conducting financial monitoring visits, and reconciling sub-grantees' advances, all while maintaining a meticulous approach to documentation and reporting.
Also, I have demonstrated proficiency in financial management, budget development and analysis, cash flow management, and financial reporting. As a Deputy Finance Coordinator and Finance and Compliance Manager at Médecins du Monde (MDM) in Nigeria, I successfully prepared and submitted monthly financial reports to donors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, I managed budget follow-up, processed transaction payments, and oversaw the financial aspects of donor contracts, contributing to the efficient allocation of resources and the achievement of program objectives.
My experience extends to program coordination, risk management, procurement and supply chain management, and stakeholder relationship management. At International Medical Corps (IMC), I served as a Finance & Admin Officer, where I processed monthly payroll, supervised staff, coordinated procurement requests, and ensured compliance with donor regulations and organizational policies.
Furthermore, my educational background, including an MBA in Business Administration and a B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance, has equipped me with the necessary skills to analyze complex financial data, develop strategic plans, and implement effective financial controls
