WAW is an innovative Senegalese company created in 2016 in Senegal. In 2017, it became one of the first companies to receive an Internet Service Provider (ISP) license. The license is national. WAW provides Internet access services to small and medium-sized businesses, large industries, NGOs, and government agencies. The company has 2 Senegalese shareholders (Abdou and Daoud) and a 3rd one (Sandy). Our annual turnover is over 1M EUR in 2020 and 2021 and expected to grow more in 2023. 2/5 senior managers are women in addition to 3 women managers, out of the 32 employees we have 14 women. WAW's activities include the development of new fiber optic infrastructures, LTE wireless networks and the construction of a new broadband network linked to the pre-existing fiber optic backbone. WAW's leadership clearly sees the need to continue building strong partnerships for access to the best technologies and equipment in the telecommunication industries.
